WAGON DERAILED
MISHAP ON MAIN LINE (From Our Oxen Correspondent) MERCER; To-day. The derailment of a wagon on the main line three-quarters of a mile y south of Ohinewai last evening delayed a mixed train for 70 minutes. When the mixed goods and passenger train which leaves Frankton Junction for Auckland at 2.30 o'clock in the afternoon was approaching Ohinewai, a loaded wagon left the rails. The train was pulled up smartly, and no damage was done to the permanentway. It took an hour and 10 minutes to replace the wagon on the rails. The train was late in reaching Auckland. Fortunately there was little delay to the railway traffic on the line.
