MOTOR-CYCLIST HURT
SKULL FRACTURED IN COLLISION GREAT SOUTH ROAD SMASH While riding along the Great South Road on his motor-cycle about five miles south of Mercer yesterday morning, Archibald Hall collided with another motor-cyclist, and was thrown on to the road, the force of the blow fracturing his skull. Mr. Hall, who is 28 years old, was accompanied by his brother Harold Hall, who was travelling in the sidecar. His brother was also thrown out, but was not badly hurt. Mr. Hall lives at 228 New North Road, Mount Albert. The other motorcycle was ridden by J. S. Albon, of Hastie Avenue, Mangere. Mr. Albon was Unhurt. Mr. Hall was brought in to the Auckland Hospital, where he now lies seriously ill, his condition not haying improved since last evening.
