TROTTING CARNIVAL
AUCKLAND’S SECOND DAY The Auckland Trotting Club’s summer carnival will be advanced a further stage to-morrow, when the second day’s card will be submitted, and again the trottingloving public is assured of keen and thrilling contests. The splendid racing: witnessed yesterday, which was enjoyed by a large number of patrons, will induce those who were fortunate enough to witness it again to visit Alexandra Park tomorrow, when an equally good card will come up for decision. Good fields will contest the various items, and in the principal events —Summer Cup, Champion Handicap, and Epsom Trot —the best of the Dominion’s pacers and trotters will be seen in action. “Abaydos” suggests that the following will find favour in their respective engagements: Oak Handicap.— ETTA COLE and KOLMAR.
