TOURNAMENT PLAY ABANDONED TO CONTINUE TO-MORROW With its Christmas tournament the Auckland Bowling Centre has been decidedly unfortunate. It was to have opened on Boxing Day, but the state of the weather made it impossible to start, and it was postponed till yesterday when the first round was played on heavy greens. This morning it was deemed inadvisable to continue, and accordingly the playing of the second round has been deferred until to-morrow, when section A will be played at Mount Eden, section B at Remuera, section C at Ponsonby, section D at Hillsboro, section E at Mount Albert, and section F at Dominion Road.
