POWER TO GRANT DIPLOMAS (From Our Rcs i *ient Reporter.) WELLINGTON, To-day. The Institute of Horticulture having set up an examining board, with power to grant diplomas In horticulture, arrangements are now being completed to allow students to undergo both the theoretical and practical tests prescribed by the institute. Among the arrangements being finalised is included provision for classes in Wellington on the following subjects: Principles and practice of horticulture, botany and zoology. It is intended that these classes shall be open not only to students intending to sit for the institute’s examination. but also to all who are interested in the subjects mentioned.
