DANA REPORTS. —The Danish Scientific Expedition’s steamer Dana has reported by wireless that she will not arrive from Noumea until next Wednesday. The vessel was expected yesterday.

MAM ILI US REPORTED. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mamilius cleared Panama last Tuesday evening, in continuation of her voyage from London to Suva, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Tirnaru. She is due at Suva on January 1 and at Lyttelton on January 8.

WAIHEKE SERVICE.—The Northern Steamship Comany, Limited, advises that the O.V. Waiuku commences on Monday running daily trips to Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha. The vessel leaves at 9.30 a.m. each day, and in addition on Mondays and Wednesdays proceeds to Cowes "Bay, calling at all bays en route.

NIAGARA DUE MONDAY.—Due in the stream at Auckland early Monday morning from Sydney, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Niagara berths about 5.30 a.m. at the Prince’s Wharf to land her passengers and mails, and to load for America. The vessel is scheduled to sail from here at 2 p.m. on Tuesday for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver.

SILVER SHELL SAILING.—After completing the discharge of the whole of her cargo of bulk oil from the Pacific Coast to the agency of the Shell Company of New Zealand, Limited, the tanker Silver Shell is to be dispatched from Auckland at 5 p.m., today for Balik Papan to load again. The tanker arrived early this week and berthed at Western Wharf.

MAI MO A DUE SHORTLY.—Although not reported by wireless the Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Maimoa is scheduled to reach Auckland from Liverpool next Tuesday. The vessel has general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dundein. L. D. Nathan and Company. Ltd., are the local agents.

HERTFORD SAILING.—With a cargo of New Zealand produce (wool, frozen mutton, butter, cheese, etc.), the Federal Steam Navigation Company’s steamer Hertford, is to be dispatched from Auckland at three o’clock this afternoon for London. Avonmouth. Glasgow and Liverpool, via Panama. She arrived at Auckland last Sunday from the coast to complete loading operations at Queen’s Wharf.

TAMAROA ON MONDAY.—Due to sail from vy.liington at five o’clock this evening, the Shaw. Savill and Albion Company's liner, Tamaroa, is due at Auckland at seven o’clock on Monday morning when she will berth at Queen’s Wharf to complete the discharge of her cargo from London and Southampton. The vessel arrived at the capital on Tuesday evening last.

INTER-COLONIAL STEAMERS. Having left Wellington shortly after noon yesterday the Huddart-Parker intercolonial passenger steamer, Ulimaroa, is due at Sydney on Tuesday morning next.

The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer, Marama. was dispatched from Sydney at half-past five yesterday evening for Auckland, where she is expected to arrive on Tuesday morning next. The vessel berths at Central Wharf.

The Union Company's Maunganui sailed from Sydney yesterday for Wellington with passengers, mails and cargo. She also is due at the capital on Tuesday morning next.

CANADIAN BRITISHER ARRIVES.— An arrival at Auckland last evening was the Canadian National Steamships steamer, Canadian Britisher, with motorcars and general merchandise from Montreal. The vessel berthed at Prince’s Wharf to put out the local portion of her cargo.

The Canadian Britisher sailed from Montreal on October 28 and Sydney on November 3. Colon was reached on November 15 and Balboa was cleared the following day. Off Tahiti a northerly storm was experienced for two days, and strong westerly winds prevailed during the last two days of the voyage. Otherwise generally fair weather prevailed. Captain E. M. Lyons is in command, and the following are his officers: Chief, Mr. L. R. Renfrew; second, Mr. C. Hunt; third, Mr. P. W. Spear; wireless operator, Mr. J. Discoteau; chief engineer, Mr. L. Murphy; second, Air. F. Rennie; third, Mr. C. Fenech: fourth, Mr. E. Duncan; chief steward. Mr. E. Todhunter.

The local office of the Canadian National Steamships advises that the Canadian Britisher is to be dispatched next week for Napier, Wellington. Lyttelton, Tirnaru and Dunedin.

MANUKA AT M ELBOU RN E.—Cabled news has been received by the Union Company that the Manuka, from Bluff arrived at Melbourne at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The vessel is scheduled to leave again at 10 a.m. next Wednesday for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due at Bluff on December 23 and at Wellington on December 30. LIVERPOOL SAILINGS—The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised of the following projected sailings of the Federal steamers from Liverpool for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin: The Westmoreland leaves Liverpool on January 5; the Middlesex on January 19; the Huntingdon on February 16; the Cambridge on March 2; the Norfolk on March 30; the Kent on April 13; the Cumberland on May 11; the Cornwall on June 6. PORT OF ONEH7NGA—ARRIVAL TO-DAY RARAWA (7.15 a.m.), 1,077 tons, Bark, from New Plymouth. The Rarawa, which arrived at One* hunga this morning from New Plymouth, sails again on Monday afternoon on the return trip. The Arapawa has been delayed at Wanganui. The Hauturu is due at Onehunga early to-morrow morning from Hokianga. She sails again on Monday afternoon for Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato.
