One-Day Card Set for Taumarunui

MANY DUAL ENGAGEMENTS SOME FANCIED HORSES Tim annual race meeting of the Taumarunui Racing Club is to be held at Taumarunui to-morrow. The acceptances for the various events have filled splendidly, and there should be several stirring contests. A number of horses claim as many as two and three engagements, and there may be a double winner or two. The following horses are expected to come in for some support to-morrow: Trial Plate. —Owairaka and Arcade. Taringamotu Hack.— Froth blower and Partial Eclipse. Taumarunui Cup.—Alonsoa and Ari kitoa. Matapuna Hack Handicap.— Lady Cynic and Takutama. Manunui Hurdles. —Highflown and Kaihoremai. Matiere Hack Handicap.—Frothblower and Flitter. Rangaroa Flying Handicap.—Takutama and Siaosi.
