Miss Christina Ormiston, soloist, will also appear for the last time this evening. To-morrow another of the excellently varied Majestic programmes will be presented-—a feast of beautiful pictures and good music. ‘‘The Adorable Outcast,” a picture of exceptional charm, will be the main feature of the programme. It has a thrilling plot, relieved with comedy situations which it would be hard to better. Edith Roberts, as Luya gives a charming exposition of the character of a supposed half-caste girl, and Edmund Burns, as Stephens Conn, achieves success in a difficult role. The story tells of life in the islands, with all the picturesque detail of scenery and inhabitants complete. Luya wins the love of Stephen Conn, the wealthiest inhabitant of the island, and he tells her the secret of his riches. The source of these last provides the problem which Tursey, the villian of the piece, and his gang of blackbirders set out to solve. The many exciting happenings work up to a grand climax with the burning of Don Devil's island stronghold. The huge cast includes 6,000 Fijian natives, and such well known stars as Edmund Burns, Walter Long and Jessica Harcourt. A beautiful stage presentation has been arranged, during which Miss Mary Cofield, soprano, will sing special numbers. “War Memories,” views of the famous battlefields of Flanders, will head the supporting programme, which will include a Majestic News, a comedy and a dancing instruction film. The Majestic Orchestra has arranged another excellent musical programme.
