Fresh Air Fund For Sister Pat’s Camp

r pHROUGH the medium of the -** Wigwam page it is hoped that the funds for Sister Pat's camp at Oneroa, where poor and sickly 'children are given an annual holiday, may be materially assisted. The camp is entirely dependent on public subscription and no sum is too small to help this worthy cause. Some of these children are orphans, the parents of many are unemployed, others are sick or crippled, and in every instance there is need for pity and material aid. Last year 100 children attended the camp, but many little deserving people were forced to stay behind. Ten shillings will keep one child properly fed and cared for for a week, while the sunshine at Oneroa brings colour back to pale cheeks. Who will help? Between now and Christmas a subscription list will be run in this page. Redfeather will commence it with £1 and Chiefs, Braves, and other readers are earnestly requested to assist. All subscriptions will be acknowledged in these columns.
