ROWING AT HAMILTON
TRIAL FOURS RESULT (From Oar Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Saturday. Trial fours were conducted on the river between the two bridges by the Hamilton Rowing Club this afternoon. Good form was exhibited and several close finishes were registered. Results are as follow: First Heat—G. St. Clair (str), Brockett, Patridge, Cook, won by a canvas from M. McKenzie (str), Kane, Curnow, Marcroft. Second Heat—Pennell (str). 1. W. St. Clair, Guminer, Nicoll, won by 11 lengths from Nicoll (str), Pope, Layne, Lloyd. Semi-finals —G. St. Clair (str), Brockett, Cook, Partridge, won by two lengths from Patetrson (str), McAnnally, Graham, Pollock. Molesworth (str). Hill, Blackburn. Pickup, won by three-quarters of a length from I. W. St. Clair, Pennell, Wallace, Guinnier. Final—G. St. Clair (str), Brockett, 6*ook, Partridge, won by a length from Molesworth (str), Hill, I %3kup, Blackburn.
