BUILT AT THAMES
ENGINES AS GOOD AS IMPORTED (From Our Oxen Correspondent J THAMES, To-day. More than equal to the best of the imported locomotives, was the opinion expressed by Mr. G. S. Lynde, chief mechanical engineer of the New Zealand Railway Department, when passing the third engine last week, which Messrs. A. and G. Price, Ltd., of Thames, turned out to the order of the Government. Mr. Lynde complimented the firm on the excellence oC its work.
