BUSINESS MAN MISSING
WELL KNOWN IN CITY relatives show anxiety A well-known Auckland business man, Mr. Henry James Whitley, suddenly disappeared on Saturday and has not been seen since. His relatives are anxious concerning his safety, and inquiries are being made by the police. Mr. Whitley, who resides at 6 Bridgewater Road, is a member of the Arm of W. S. Whitley and Sons, gumbrokers and produce merchants, 9 Gore Street. He attended the office on Saturday morning, leaving, as usual, at mid-day. When he did not return home his family became anxious and inquiries were made, but no one knew where he had gone and there was no message saying that he intended going away. Mr. Whitley has not enjoyed the best of health for some time. He is 56 years of age, sft lOin in height, and slightly built. His eyes are blue, complexion fair, and his hair is turning grey.
