EVERYBODY’S

“STOP THAT MAN” A happy story of youthful overenthusiasm is “Stop That Man!” now at Everybody’s Theatre. Tommy O’Brien’s dream of becoming a policeman like his two older brothers comes true when he secretly dons one of their uniforms, which he was supposed to take to the tailor’s. While in the uniform he is called to the rescue of a girl. Then he aids a man, whom he sees trying to unlock a door, by climbing in the window for him. The man is “Slippery Dick” Sylvaine, a crook. In climbing in the window", Tommy loses the badge from tho coat of his brother Bill. When the police come to the robbed house they find the badge and arrest Bill, Tommy brings the girl he saved, Muriel, to his home, to the consternation of the brothers. Reginald Denny’s latest and most uproarious farce, “Good Morning, Judge,” is also on the programme. “MAGNIFICENT FLIRT” AT CAPITOL The beautiful Florence Vidor is the star in “The Magnificent Flirt,” now at the Capitol Theatre. Miss Vidor plays the role of a flirtatious woman of wealth who gets the attention of a count, the uncle of the boy who loves her daughter. The boy asks Miss Vidor for the girl’s hand, and she consents. He is so happy that he kisses Miss Vidor. The kiss is seen by the count, who refuses to allow* the boy to marry her daughter as a result. The uncle does not know that it was his own nephew he saw kissing Miss Vidor. The boy defends her and the count decides to put the “magnificent flirt” to a test. Miss Vidor vindicates herself in a humorous manner. “Jazz Mad,” starring Jean Hersholt. is the second attraction. James Cruze will direct William Haines in “A Man's Man.” Josephine Dunn has the leading feminine role and Mae Busch, Bert Roach. Sam Hardy and Arthur Hoyt will also appear.
