EDENDALE SHOWS “THE PATSY”
Imagine Marion Davies wearing her sister’s left-off clothes, doing nearly all tlio housework, and mimicking Lillian Gish, Mae Murray, and Pola Negri, just to show she is not downhearted! Yet this is what she does in her latest comedy, “The Patsy,” now at the Edendale Theatre. As Patricia Harrington, the “uninteresting” member of an average family, Marion .Davies goes through all the indignities of the Cinderella sister. There comes a time when she decides to develop “personality,” however, and the fun starts. “The is a rollicking comedy of domestic life—the cleverest thing of its sort ever screened, chocked full of human interest, laughs galore, and a l'eal and human love story. “Impetuous Youth,” a story of the troubles of a youth and his stepmother, .will also be shown. Comrad Veidt and Eizabeth Berger ire the stars.
