LITTLE HERMIE AND REVUE The “Whirl of Mirth” Revue Company continues to attract capacity audiences at the £ Fun and laughtei are the order of the day, and the company is bright entertainment. froir first to last. Hall a dozen sketches with Little Hermi< well to the fore with Charles Sherman, Al. Maurice and Frank Moral not far behind, cnas- Sherman characterise this week’s programme, with the latter half devoted to an uproarious and blood-curdling farce, “Out West.” Several songs by Patsy Hill, Colleen Hope, and Vernon Sellars are delightful, and some clever musical work is introduced by Kathleen Ward. Ballet dancing as it should be danced is given by “The Girls,” whose frocking is the last word in colouring and originality. They combine with wonderful effect on a number of occasions, and are aided by Jean Keith, Gus Dawson, and others. The Charleston Symphonic Six again play a variety of popular numbers, and prove themseves to be first-class musicians. It is not often that such a fine combination is heard in Auckland. The same programme will be repeated this evening.
