SKETCH CLUB SHOW
SEVERAL SALES MADE The Auckland Sketch Club’s exhibition attracted a steady stream of visitors throughout Saturday, and although the show has been open only a few days, a number of pictures have found purchasers. The following are the sales:—“Ngaruawahia Bridge” (Alice F. Whyte), £1 12s 6d; ‘‘McKay’s Timber Mill. Kairara” (Adele Youngluisband), £2 2s; “The Pebbly Stream” (Ida Cl. Eise), £5 ss; “A Bend in the Road” (Hilda Wiseman), £1 I Os; “The Harbour from Parnell” (Ella Spicer), £2 10s; “Summer Afternoon” (Valance Young), £1 Is. The exhibition will be open day and evening this week.
