HANDICAPPERS’ STAKES
PAUL, the Auckland adjuster, continues to increase his lead in the New Zealand handicappers’ stakes, having added Timaru and Ashburton to his list. Geo. Simpson, of Christchurch, has been appointed to allot the marks for the Manawatu meeting, and Harry Jarden, who made such a capital effort at Oamaru as drew forth a letter of praise from the club, has captured the Westport Club’s job.
