RUMANIAN LEADER
MANIU WILDLY CHEERED ACCLAIMED AS LIBERATOR Reed. noon. BUKAREST, Sunday. M. Juliu Maniu. Leader of the Rumanian National Peasants’ Party, has formed a new Government "which ■was sworn in on Saturday. Parliament was then dissolved. A message from Berlin says a convention has been signed by Germany and Rumania settling all outstanding differences. M. Maniu was cheered with the wildest enthusiasm after the formation of the Ministry. He is regarded as the liberator of the country from its regime of dictatorship. M. Maniu. receiving pressmen. voluntarily promised an immediate removal of censorship, an unfettered election in December, continuity of the foreign policy, and early revision of tariff, retaining only essential duties.
