prime minister returns busy two days The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. J- G. Coates, arrived in Auckland this morning, and is at the Grand Hotel. This morning he had a number of nrivate interviews, and was called noon by most of the Reform candidates as well as by other candidates. To-day and to-morrow he will speak at the meetings of a number of candidates. His programme to-day included the following: pm —Women’s meeting, De Luxe Theatre, Mount Albert. 3 p.m.—Women's meeting, Town | Hall, Newmarket. S p.m. —Regent Picture Theatre,, Manukau Road. s 30 p.m. —Old Mount Eden Bus Com- i pany’s garage, corner Mount I Eden and St. Leonard's Roads. 0.10 p m.—West End Theatre, Pon-; sonby. To-morrow he will be at three further meetings, as follow: 7 30 p.m.—Gaiety Theatre, Otahuhu.! 5.40 p.m.—Strand Theatre, Ont- j hunga. 9.15 p.m. —Town Hall. Avondale.
