DAMAGE TO FARM
COURT ADJUSTS CLAIM (From Our Own Correspondent) TE AWAMUTU, Saturday. A further hearing in the claim by L. T. Bergemann, of Te Awamutu. for damage alleged to have been done to his farm by the laying of a watersur<r' 1 v pipe-line to the Mental Hospital. Tokanui, was heard by an Assessment Court. consisting of Messrs. W. Wilson, S.M., J. P. Johnson, and J. W. Gordon. Lengthy argument was heard. The Court considered the loss claimant had suffered was only to a small amount of pasturage, and awarded him £lO, each side to pay its own costs.
