NEW GOODS SHED
OPENED THIS MORNING To-day the new railway outward goods shed is a hive. of activity. It was opened this morning for the first time, and the modern appliances for the quick handling of goods are appreciated very much by business men. The new shed is really the first part of the. Reorganisation of the Auckland station yards to be finished. It is the most up-to-date of its kind in the Dominion. All goods are loaded into the trucks under cover. and huge overhead cranes smartly handle bulky merchandise. There is ample accommodation for motor-lorries entering and leaving the building. It is a vast improvement on the old shed.
