Mrs. Maguire was heckled throughout her meeting by a largo number of Labour sympathisers, who chipped Lor monotonously upon her politics, anil who were threatened by the chairman. Mr. P. J. Crump. The candidate made it clear that she thought the life of Parliament too short at present, and advocated its extension to five years.
