AGAINST PROHIBITION

TWO PROMINENT SPEAKERS This e\*ening two prominent speakers will state their views against Prohibition. Both have* knowledge of American conditions, and will use the recent presidential election as providing object lessons against Prohibition. Mr. Fred Arlington Burke will speak at an open-air meeting at the Marine Parade, Devonport, at 8 p.m., and has specially asked prohibitionists to attend and hear the other side of the question. Mr. H. Scott Bennett will speak at tho Municipal Hall, Newmarket, at tho same time. To-morrow evening Mr. Bennett will speak at Leys Institute, Ponsonby, at 8 o’clock, and Mr. Burke will address a meeting in the open air outside the Xorthcote Council Chambers.
