RUAHINE FOR HOME.—With passengers, mails, and cargo, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine leaves Napier to-night for Southampton and London, via Panama.

MAILS HOME.—The chief postmaster has been advised that mails, which left Wellington on October 9 per R.M.S. Maunganui, via San Francisco, arrived at London on November 7.

MANUKA LEAVES MELBOURNE.— Cabled news has been received by the Union Company that the Manuka cleared Melbourne at 11.45 a.m. on Wednesday for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. The vessel is due at Bluff tomorrow and at Wellington next Friday. tt U J-, ,MAR °A from SYDNEY.—The ULuddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa left Sydney for Wellington at 1.15 yesterday afternoon. The vesel is due at Wellington on Tuesday morning, and is to be dispatched on her return trip to Sydney next Friday. She is the only Sydney passenger steamer arriving at or leaving New Zealand next week. MATAROA DELAYED.—Advice reoeived by L. D. Nathan and Company, Ltd., states that the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa has been delayed at Southern ports owing to wet weather, and will not reach Auckland to continue loading until November 20. The vessel will afterwards complete loading at Wellington, and she is to be dispatched from mere for Southampton and London, via Panama, on November 30. PORT DARWIN DUE MONDAY.— Heather, Ro.berton, Limited, advises that the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Darwin is to leave New Plymouth for Auckland to-day to continue loading New Zealand produce for England. The vessel is due on Monday morning and will berth at Queen’s Wharf. She is to sail on Tuesday for Gisborne, Napier and Wellington, where she completes loading. ( She is to be dispatched for London, via Panama, on November 23.

CANADIAN HIGHLANDER SAILS.— For Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, to complete the discharge of her cargo from Eastern Canadian ports, the Canadian National steamer, Canadian Highlander, was dispatched from Auckland this afternoon. She will also commence loading in the South, and will complete at Auckland at the beginning of next month for Montreal, via New York and Boston.

TRONGATE REPORTS AGAIN.— Messrs. Robert Millar and Company this morning received a further wireless report from the master of the steamer Trongate, en route from Galveston, Texas, to Auckland with a cargo of sulphur, stating that the vessels now expects to arrive in the pilot ground at noon on Monday next. She will berth at King’s Wharf later in the afternoon, and after putting out the local portion of her cargo, sails for Lyttelton and Australia to complete.

H.M.S. DIOMEDE AT SUVA. —H.M.S. Diomede reached Suva from Honolulu yesterday. The warship is returning to New Zealand after refitting in England. She is to leave Suva on Wednesday, and is due at Auckland on November 19. WAIPAHI DUE TUESDAY. —The local office of the Union Company expects the Island fruit steamer Waipahi to arrive at Auckland on Tuesday morning from Suva. The same evening the vessel sails again for Portland, where she will load cement for Wellington and Lyttelton. NORFOLK FROM LONDON. —With cargo from London for discharge at Auckland and Wellington, the Federal steamer Norfolk is due here on Monday evening from Suva. She will berth at the Queen’s Wharf to iinload the local portion of her cargo, under the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. MAUI POMARE SAILING. —The Government motor-ship Maui Poniare arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon from Apia, Samoa, and Niue Island, via Lyttelton and Wellington, and berthed at the King’s Wharf. With passengers, mails, and cargo, the vessel leaves here at three o’clock this afternoon for Norfolk Island.

PORT AUCKLAND TO LOAD.—The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Auckland will leave Sydney on Monday for New Plymouth to commence loading for London. The vessel will afterwards load also at Auckland, Napier and Wellington. The Port Auckland will leave Wellington on December 7 for the Wanganui roadstead, and is to sail finally from there on December 8 for London, via Panama. Heather Roberton, Ltd., will act as the local loading agents. CANADIAN TRAVELLER ARRIVES. "7 A o * mval in the stream at Auckland at 8.20 a.m. to-day was the Canadian National steamer, Canadian Traveller, with a cargo of motor-cars, motor accessories and general merchandise from Montreal, Canada. The vessel anchored in the stream, and berthed this afternoon at Prince’s Wharf after the company’s other vessel, Canadian Highlander, had sailed for Southern ports. The Canadian Traveller is to leave Auckland early next week ror Wellington and Melbourne, to put out the remainder of the cargo. ARAPAWA RESUMES.—The Northern Company’s steamer Arapawa has had repairs completed after her accident recently when crossing the Manukau Bar from Wanganui to Onehunga. She will resume running on Tuesday next, sailing at 3 p.m. that day for Wanganui.
