KING AND PRINCE SEEN AND HEARD IN TALKING FILM
A BRITISH phonofllm, ‘Trooping the Colour,” in which the King - and the Prince of Wales appeared, was shown to the King and Queen and other members of the Royal Family recently. Presented by British Talking Pictures, Limited, it gave the King his first experience of a sound picture. Sound effects were obtained from the words of, command during the ceremony and 1 from the music provided by j the massed bands of the ! Guards. The company dispatched from its studios at Wembley a recording van equipped with projecting and sound-repro-ing apparatus.
