“FOG” RENAMED
Charles Francis Coe’s story, “Fog ” now being produced by Charles Klein for Fox Films will henceforth be known as “The Case of Mary Brown.” While “Fog” aptly describes the mental condition of the heroine, which provides the animating motif of the story, it is a title that has been used. Lois Moran plays the part of Mary Brown, with George O’Brien playing opposite. The story deals with a pretty newspaper writer who suffers a mental shock and loss of memory. While in the state of amnesia, jewellery thieves take advantage of her condition and make of her a dazzling little decoy, by clothing her in gorgeous gowns, and surrounding her with every luxury. Thus the reason of the working title. “Fog."
