GOOD PICTURES AT BRITANNIA
Stark drama and tender romance are both seen in the tremendous powerful story of the Frozen North, “The Grip of the Yukon,” which will be shown at the Britannia Theatre this evening. “The Grip of the Yukon” is a story of two gold prospectors, desperate for food and driven nearly mad by the endless wastes of snow, who murder an old prospector. Years later, in a disreputable gambling saloon, they play for the possession of a girl, and after winning her find that she is the daughter of the man they murdered. Francis X. Bushman and Neil Hamilton play the roles of the two miners, and June Marlow is the girl. The merry Harry Langdon comedy, “Heart Trouble,” will also be shown.
