WOMEN FIGHT POLICE
UPROAR IN VICTORIAN PARLIAMENT (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) MELBOURNE, Thursday. Sensational scenes were witnessed during a heated debate on a noconfidence motion against the Government, moved in the Victorian Legislative Assembly yesterday. A number of women in the gallery indulged in interjections, and fought the police when they attempted to remove the disturbers, who struggled fiercely, and shouted disparaging remarks about the constables, and declared that the stevedores were being crushed by imported foreigners. The debate was not finished.
