EMPLOYER AND WORKER SCIENTIFIC ORGANISATION British Official Wireless RUGBY. Saturday. The Marquess of Londonderry, who has recently been appointed a member of the Government as First Commissioner of Works, in a speech at Darlington on the relations between the employer and the employed, referred to the objects of the National industrial Council. The speaker said he hoped they might in future be relieved from those disastrous deadlocks which had hampered their activities, not only in this country, but in competition with the rest of the world. No doubt the Industrial Conference could produce a report which would definitely show the advantages to bo gained by the scientific organisation of industry, and that they could look forward to, an era of industrial prosperity and material success, if the recommendations were carried out.
