TEMPERANCE UNION
FAREWELL TO VICE-PRESIDENT Members of the executive of the Auckland Women's Christian Temperance Union were entertained by the president, Mrs. John Cook, at Ashley, Esplanade Road, Mount Eden, on Friday afternoon. The occasion was a farewell to Mrs. J. Hutchinson, vice-president of the union, who is leaving for Australia, where she will make her home. Mrs. Cook, on behalf of the executive, presented her with a , small token of esteem and paid a tribute to the service Mrs. Hutchinson had given to the union during her time in Auckland. Afternoon tea was served and a pleasant time spent in social intercourse.
