COASTAL MOVEMENTS—

The Gael sailed early this afternoon for Manly, Arkle’s Bay and Silverdale. She is due back again at ten o’clock this evening. The Hauiti was to sail at one o’clock this afternoon for Coromandel and Colville. She is due back again at 1 p.m. tomorrow. The Pono sails a tfour o’clock this afternoon for Mercury Bay and Tairua. The Paroto leaves at four o’clock this afternoon for Kerepeehi. The Clansman, leaving at 4 p.m. today for Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui, returns again at half-past seven on Friday morning. The Matangi resumes running in the Auckland-Tauranga trade this evening, sailing from Auckland at half-past six for Tauranga. She is due back again at half-past seven on Wednesday morning. The Waipu was to be dispatched at 1 p.m. to-day for Thames. She is due back again at 12.45 p.m. to-morrow. The Kawau left this morning for Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai. She returns again at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Taniwha is due at Auckland at three o’clock to-morrow morning from Paeroa. She sails again at 11.30 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Claymore arrives at Auckland at five o’clock to-morrow morning from Whangarei. At 9.30 p.m. the same day she ’leaves on the return trip. The Tuhoe for Whakatane, and the Otimai for Kutarere and Opotiki, are to be dispatched from Auckland at noon tomorrow. The Toa sails at three o'clock on Wednesday afternoon next from Auckland for Hokianga. The Awahou, which arrived at Auckland yesterday from the East Coast is loading at Central Wharf. At five o’clock to-morrow evening she sails for Tokor maru Bay, Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Pakura arrives at Auckland late this evening from the East Coast, via Portland, and win berth at the Central Wharf. At three o’clock to-morrow afternoon she is to be dispatched for East Coast Bays, Napier and Wairoa, in place of the Mako, which has been placed on the Napier-Wellington run. The Gunfoar arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon from the East Coast and berthed at the King’s Wharf. She leaves to-night on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Balls Head is due at Auckland at three o’clock this afternoon from Greymouth, and berths at the Prince's Wharf. After discharge she returns to-morrow to Greymouth to load again for this port. The Kaimanawa is due here at three o’clock this afternoon from Westport and berths at Chelsea. After discharge she proceeds to Portland to load' cement for probably Napier and Wellington. The Kurow is due at Auckland at 5.30 p.m. to-day from Southern ports, and berths at the Prince’s Wharf. After discharge she loads here, and sails on Wednesday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Wingatui is leaving Dunedin this afternoon, via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Picton, for Auckland, where she is due early next week. The Kamona is to load at Greymouth to-day for New Plymouth and Auckland, and on arrival here pays oft" to undergo her overhaul and survey. The Waipiata, which left Auckland on Saturday for Southern ports, loads a.t Bluff on Friday, thence Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington for Auckland. The Katoa is due at Westport to-day from Auckland and loads there for New Plymouth and Auckland. She is due here toward the end of the week. The Kaiwarra has been fixed to load at Westport about Saturday next for Wellington and Auckland. The Westport Coal Company’s collier Canopus is to load at Westport to-mor-row for Auckland, .and should arrive here about -Friday next. The Waimea, which arrived at Auckland this morning from Napier, and berthed at the Central Wharf, leaves here at 4 p.m. to-morrow on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier.
