Arrangements have been completed for the Rotorua carnival week and great interest is being shown. The Mayor will perform the opening ceremony. Many attractive features have been provided by the committee, and many prizes will be given for the various competitions. • * • The Rev. A. C. Randerson, of Rotorua, who has been seriously ill, is making good progress toward recovery and hopes to be able to resume his duties next week. Mr. J. Thomson, chief native land purchase officer, from 'Wellington, arrived in Rotorua on Friday and will remain in the district for some time*
