STREET BRAWL
WHANGAREI MEN FINED (From Our Oxen Correspondent) WHANGAREI, To-day. At the Magistrate’s Court this morning Edward Griffin was fined £ 1 and costs as a result of a street brawl outside the Commercial Hotel, Whangarei, on October 22, in w'hich Griffin had struck another man named Atkinson and knocked him down. Michael O’Halloran, who was also implicated, was not convicted owing to conflicting evidence.
