MAJESTIC
“A CERTAIN YOUNG MAN”
All that goes toward making ‘ a supreme combination of sparkling attractions, interesting and amusing pictorial features, beautiful music, and scintillating revue, is offered in the entertainment fare presented to patrons by the Majestic Theatre. Not only is there depicted the usual musical and pictorial programme, but there is a bright and charming revue produced by Miss O’Leary. A most interesting film, which is a worthy tribute to the St. John Ambulance Association, is that showing the “oldest order of Chivalry in the World.” Of outstanding interest on the supporting programme, is a film showing first, the departure of the interpid flyers, Kingsford Smith and Ulm, leaving Christchurch for Blenheim, then the replacing of the worn propellers by those used in the wonderful flight across from America to Australia, and the testing of the machine, and, lastly, the thrilling take-off on the return flight across the Tasman. Concluding the supporting programme is the ever-popular Majestic News, with the latest topical budgets and news. The chief pictorial attraction is “A Certain Young Man,” which has Ramon Novarro as its star. A scintillating revuette is “Dancing Time,” in which Koanui,' the talented little child actress, and the wellknown “Midget Moselles” appear. Beautiful and intricate dancing is provided by the Moselles, while to little Koanui should go much praise for her rendition of “Someday You’ll Say 0.K.” This certainly is one of the brightest and most picturesque interludes seen for many months in Auckland. Mr. Wliiteford Waugh’s Majestic Orchestra plays a bright musical programme.
