“DEVIL DANCER” AT GRAND
“Th,e Devil Dancer,” with Gilda Gray in the* leading role, will be shown again this evening at the Grand Theatre. The story is that of an English girl, taken by the Black Larqas of Tibet when a baby, and raised in a devil temple. Of English blood, yet Tibetan in manner, she is neither, but a strange, exotic figure. Suddenly a man comes into her life, an Englishman. and he carries her away from the temple. Then follows the dramatic unfolding of her temperament against the colourful background of India and an Anglo-Indian settlement. “The Big City,” starring Lon Chaney as a gang leader, is the second attraction.
