CHALMERS ELECTORATE
NEW UNITED CANDIDATE FOUND (Special to THE SUH) DUXEDIN, Thursday. Mr. J. i J . TV ells. Mayor of Mosgiel, whose name went to the selection ballot for the United Party candidate for Chalmers, has announced that he will definitely contest the seat in place of Mr. John Louden, who retired last week, as he could not support Sir Joseph Ward’s borrowing policy.
