The majority of people in diplomatic circles repeat that the Earl of Birkenhead intends to take up a commercial career in the city immedfetely. Ttie "Daily Express” forecasts that Lord Peel will be his successor. The paper adds that letters exchanged between Lord Birkenhead and Mr. Baldwin will be published in a few days. It is understood that Lord Birkenhead will join a company with worldwide interests, and that his income will be three times the £5,000 a year that he receives as a member of the Cabinet. v
