SMART ARREST BY POLICE BURGLARY CHARGE FOLLOWS Press Association TB AWAMUTU, To-day. A smart arrest was effected yesterday by the Te Awarautu police and detective White, of Hamilton. Receiving word during the morning that two shops at Ohaupo had been broken into during the night, and small sums of money taken, Constables Forsyth and Hooker investigated. The only clue obtainable was a peculiarly shaped hpot heel mark in the garden next to one shop. It was decided to investigate the movements of a man whom they found was an Inmate of the Waikato Hospital. His boots made a similar mark, and he was Hrrested and chfirged with the burglary. , He will be brought before the court Hamilton to-day.
