TUDOR, REMUERA
“LADY RAFFLES” The story of a clever thief entitled “Lady Raffles,” will be shown again this evening at the Tudor Theatre, Rerauera. “Lady Raffles” is somewhat out of the general run of productions. It is one of those films which is peculiar to itself, and its unusual flavour makes it interesting. A novel twist introduced into thO‘ action keeps the audience in suspense and springs a surprise at the climax. The picture is fascinating, intriguing, and keeps the audience wondering what the clever young woman is going to do next. Estelle Taylor in the title role has many tricky bits of business and much intense dramatic acting. In all of this she shows the finished touch of the artist. “The News Parade,” the story of a cameraman securing pictures for gazettes, will also be shown.
