SECOND DEATH AT THAMES NO FRESH CASES REPORTED (From Our Oxen Correspondent) THAMES, Tuesday. Another death from typhoid lever—the second—has occurred in the Thames Hospital, the victim being the 13-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Richardson. The headmaster of the Thames South School, Mr. J. Masefield, is seriously ill with typhoid fever, but was stated this evening to have improved slightly.

Dr. W. Sowerby, medical superintendent of the Thames Hospital, said this evening that with one slight exception the typhoid patients under his care were progressing satisfactorily. and that no fresh cases had been reported in the past week.
