EGG-PULP RETURNS

A large increase in the amount of egg pulp held in cold storage in New Zealand, compared with that at the corresponding date last year, is shown in figures made available by the Government Statistician. The figures are as follow:

ALBURNIA.—The manager reports: fuse on the dropper leader off the Orlando reef has been risen 3ft, a total of 17ft from the reef of level. The reef here averages 2ft 6in wide and is a line compact body of stone carrying nice mineral and silica. Colours and dabs of gold were seen in the ore broken. Repairs were also done to the main level.”
