BASKETBALL
The basketball match between Auckland Training College girls and Rotorua was played in the Government grounds on Saturday afternoon before a large gathering of spectators. At half-time Auckland led by 5 to 4. On resuming, the visitors made the play very willing aftd defeated the local team by 10 to 8. Miss H. Hume, of Auckland, ably controlled the game.
