GOLF AT ROTORUA
TOURNAMENT OPENS POOR CARDS AT START (From Our Own Correspondent) ROTORUA, To-day. The Rotorua golf tournament opened this morning in beautiful weather. The first pair in the qualifying rounds drove off at 7 a.m. from number one tee followed by the others at five minutes interval up to 10.50 a.m. The first pair in the second round drove off at 11 a.m. The early starters on returning showed poor cards, which will no doubt be improved on during the afternoon.
