MR. WARNOCK INJURED
KNOCKED DOWN BY A MOTOR-TRUCK ACCIDENT AT NIAGARA FALLS
Word was received by his relatives in Auckland yesterday, that Mr. J. A. Warnock, who is on a visit to the United States, was seriously injured in a street accident at Niagara Falls. A motor-truck got out of control and mounted the sidewalk, knocking Mr. Warnock down. Cable advices state that he is suffering from a fractured skull and, although the doctors are more hopeful now than they were at first, his condition is still very serious.
Mr. and Mrs. Warnock left Auckland by the Aorangi on June 5, and after spending a week in Honolulu they visited Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salt Lake City and New York. They were returning via Niagara Falls, with a view to catching the Aorangi at San Francisco about August 25 when the accident happened.
