MORE LIGHT SHED ON FARM TRAGEDY
WIFE AND.CHILDREN FATALLY POISONED

At the inquiry v into the deaths of Mrs. Tanner and her three children, Harold Tanner, her husband, gave evidence that he had repeated with his wife, who was jealous and believed that he had been unfaithful. The medical evidence was that all the deaths were due to poisoning, but in the case of Mrs. Tanner, the opinion was expressed that it was not selfadministered. The hearing was adjourned.
A shocking tragedy on n farm was reported on July 23. Airs. Tanner, wife of a farmer at Coocliera, Eyre Peninsula, and her ‘hree children, aged three years, two yc • • and one year respectively, were found dead at their home. it is believed they were poisoned. The father and a farm hand were the only other persons on the property.
