OPEN TO-NIGHT There will be open to this evening another flrst-claa* place of entertainment in “The Plaza,'* tc* theatre which was formerly known &« the Princess. This theatre has been closed down during the last few days for extensive alterations, and although not y«t ewnpletly finished will present a fijn programme this evening. The theatre has been redecorated and refurnished, several structural alter, ations made, new seating will be installed and generally brought into lin« with modern ideas of theatre comfort and convenience. For the opening programme thi* evening two comedies wil be screened. The first is “The Big Noise,” a satire on American politics and sensational newspapers. The featured role In the production is played by Chest*.* Conklin, who in this character as th? result of a subway accident and the enterprise of a newspaper reporter, becomes the man of the hour. Sam Hardy is cast as the owner of a Coney Island concession and gives a notable performance. Alice White and Jack Egan also have important roles. Equally enjoyable is “The Nervoos Wreck,” an unroarious comedy of a man who imagined himself ill. Harrison Ford, a well-known comedy actor, is the man. Hobart Bosworth and Phyllis Haver are also in the cast
