O’Donoghue, deputy public trustee at Invercargill, has been appointed to succeed Mr. A. Marshall as district public trustee for North Auck-. land, with headquarters at Whangarei. Mr. W. Bagrie, of Auckland, a well known Association football enthusiast in all North Island centres and also in Christchurch, who has been on a. prolonged visit to the Old Country, returned to Auckland this morning. Mr. H. C. Guinness, assistant traffic manager of the Railway Department at Christchurch, has been promoted to traffic assistant to the divisional superintendent at Auckland, in succession to Mr. H. A. Penn, who has been transferred to Christchurch as district traffic manager for Canterbury. Mr. F. W. White, at present assistant traffic manager at Dunedin, will take Mr. Guinness’ place.
