Mr A Menzies, of Auckland, a onetime member of the New Zealand Foothill Association Council, lett by the Limited for Wellington last evening. Mr Justice Reed and Mr. Justice Tukir will return to Auckland at the ond of this week for The quarterly Supreme Court sessions which open next week. Mr W. H. Murray, member of the Yuckland City Council, Is leaving by the Rarawa to-day for New Plymouth. He will probably visit Wellington before returning to Auckland. Mr. D. O’Donoghue, deputy public trustee at Invercargill, has been appointed to succeed Mr. A. Marshall as district public trustee for North Auck-. land, with headquarters at Whangarei. Mr. W. Bagrie, of Auckland, a well known Association football enthusiast in all North Island centres and also in Christchurch, who has been on a. prolonged visit to the Old Country, returned to Auckland this morning. Mr. H. C. Guinness, assistant traffic manager of the Railway Department at Christchurch, has been promoted to traffic assistant to the divisional superintendent at Auckland, in succession to Mr. H. A. Penn, who has been transferred to Christchurch as district traffic manager for Canterbury. Mr. F. W. White, at present assistant traffic manager at Dunedin, will take Mr. Guinness’ place.
