DAWN ASSHETON AT NEW REGENT
The engagement of Dawn Assheton and Laszlo Schwartz for the New Regent to-morrow is an attraction of great interest to all music lovers. Miss Assheton is England’s greatest coloratura soprano, and a fascinating musical mimic. Mr. Schwartz is an eminent Hungarian violinist and composer. Miss Assheton will sing a group of folk songs of Spanish, Slav, negro and Maori origin. The Regent Operatic Orchestra, under the baton of Mr. Maurice Guttridge, will provide its usual high standard of musical programme.
