“MERCENARY MARY” BALL The Dixieland Cabaret will be the scene of the grand farewell to the Musical Comedy Company, now appearing at the St. James Theatre, at the conclusion of the Auckland season. A special late night will be held for the occasion, which will be on August 1, and the “Mercenary Mary” ball, as it is being called, will be under the patronage of Miss Elsie Prince, Mr. Jimmy Godden and Mr. Charlton Morton.
