UNIFORM POWER RATE
REQUEST TO GOVERNMENT Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. The Government will be urged to fix a uniform rate to be charged to boards irrespective of the quantity of electricity they require, also to issue a definite pronouncement that all profits of the Government from electrical undertakings will be used firstly in placing all such undertakings on a sound financial basis, and, secondly, in a reduction of charges for power to the distribution authorities.
